A group of woman have gotten together to knit scarves for the homeless. I am enjoying doing this.

This coming weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada. So I wrote a poem for it.

Thanksgiving

What Thanksgiving means to me.
To be thankful for what I have.
For my children and cats.
I am thankful for my Saviour Jesus Christ.
For what he did for all of us.
To have the gospel in my life.
For the love that Jesus has for me and my family.
I am thankful for my friends.
For food on the table.
For clothing on my back.
A place to live.
Air to breathe.
To be able to feel love for others.
For flowers, trees, plants, sun, the sky, birds, and animals.
Finally I am thankful for the good times, and the bad times.
These are what I am thankful for.

What are you thankful for?

A bad storm went through where I live this evening. There was Tornado watches and warnings. West of where I live had tornados touch down. Riping roofs off and causing damage to people's home. This was a weird storm. there was a double rainbow. It is slowly clearing out. What a storm.

I and my daughter Angie went to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I really enjoyed it. I think it is the best Harry Potter Movie period.

I was taken by my Home teacher and his wife,with two other people. To see a concert. It was the Mormon Tabernacle choir. The concert was good. The last song was 'God be with you toll we meet again." The Audience was allowed to sing with the choir. Since it was a church hymn. Not alot of people knew the song. I knew it and sang it good. The people around me told me I had a good voice. I was told I can say I sang with the Mormon Tabernacle choir. A friend that was their at the concert told me if my voice was trained I could make money from it.

It is now two years later I still remember the concert. It is not something I will ever forget.

My oldest daughter took me and her sister to see the new Star trek movie. It was excellent. Amazing everything. I have seen all the Star Trek movies at movie cinemas. I now own the first ten movies on DVD.

I cannot believe it is only a few days before Christmas is here. Where did the time go?

There is only a few days left for summer. I have heard people compling about the weather. Saying it was a bad summer. I thought it was nice. People always complains about the weather.

The weather is nice around here now.

It is hot where I live. Not much going on.

The Lamanites and their brethren
And the people of Jared.

It tells of Jesus Christ’s visit to the America’s.
Of his healing of the sick and afflicted through their faith.
And the teachings in which he taught the people.
You can feel the spirit of this book when you read it.
This book is the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our Saviour, and brother who loves all mankind.
